NORTH
North is a large comfortable tracking studio with an expansive control room, well laid out live room, and several isolation options. It’s the best option for tracking more expansive projects with a lot of personnel, given its layout and size. The room boasts a 1973 Neve 8024, Ampex MM1200 tape machine, and an ample amount of high end outbound gear. The live room sounds wonderful, with a vaulted ceiling, convertible acoustic paneling, and generous dimensions. Most people are surprised by how useful the mains monitoring is in North. Not only is it impressive sounding on playback, but it is accurate and balanced for mix duties.
