It’s the best option for tracking larger scale projects with a roster of personnel, given its strategic layout and useful size. The room boasts a 1973 Neve 8024 recording desk, Ampex MM1200 tape machine, and an ample amount of high end outbound gear. With its vaulted ceiling, convertible acoustic panels, and generous dimensions, North Live sounds, in a word, wonderful. Retreating back into North Control, you’re struck by the versatile mains monitoring. Not only is it impressive sounding on playback, but it is both accurate and balanced for mix duties.
